Hate vs. Love

It is said that hate kills and love is light, but love is darkness and hate brings me back to life. It helps me get up after “light” has blinded me and left me to die. What if love kills and hate is light or at least the only light after the hurricane has passed and demolished everything on its path. Like all things this has an end. Yes it helps you and gives you a few days to live, before it throws you back down and leaves you hurt and hopeless. The misery it feeds you poisons your veins with anger and your head with mistrust. Maybe, at the end, love is light even though it kills and hate kills even if it gives light.
